Aladesanmi Omolola

Program Assistant

Miss Omolola Aladesanmi is the Program Assistant of African Center for Innovation and Leadership Development (ACILD). She facilitates the Nutrido after-school program with partner secondary schools in Abuja, Nigeria. She also assists in project planning and execution, as well as grant proposal writing. Miss Omolola has prior experience managing and organizing events such as workshops, seminars, and webinars.  She is experienced in  managing and teaching young adolescents. Her work experience at the Federal University of Technology coupled with her active involvement in many academic activities in the Federal University of Technology Akure has equipped her with research, interpersonal, communication, and planning skills. Miss. Omolola graduated with honors from the Federal University of Technology Akure with a first-class degree in Biology. While in school, she received the Academic Excellence Award from the University Chapel for her outstanding academic record. She was also awarded the Best Female Graduating Student in her department. Miss Omolola is a master’s degree holder in Environmental Biology and Public Health. Her research interests are centered on reducing the threat of infectious and non-infectious diseases in Africa. Miss Omolola is currently engaged in innovative research at ACILD in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Health and academic institutions such as Osun State University.
